This book caught my attention during the holidays, apart from several of those around me in those days wanted to inquire about your Enneagram number, so it was a fun group.
The author takes us through different looks of this geometric figure, half magic, which comes from ancient times.
The Russian Gurdjieff's who brings it to the West in a form quite secretive, but has gradually been opening up and spreading its application.

Vi que 1 / 7 es 0,1428571428571 que sigue los números exactos de la secuencia de integración de los tipos psicológicos de la parte del hexagrama.
Sitúan también a los chakras en las 7 puntas de esa otra figura geometrica más interna, asociando chakras to personality types, which I found interesting and some logic, for example to see that the communicative 7, gravitates to the throat chakra or Vishuddha.

saw 1 and 2 as the grounded, turned the material world around them, at 4 and 5 of the emotions stirred in their inner world and 7 and 8, as the most symbolic, communicative and intellectual, and powerful too. And I saw the 3, 6 and 9 as intermediate steps in both processes, the dynamics of Gurdjieff as personality types in between.
The book helped me see the help you can be driving this kind of knowledge, it allows us to become aware of our automatic behavior, take a little away from them in some cases, and try other options, give us more freedom and conscience.
And finally, the points of the Enneagram, ie personality types and planets, I left my alleged 9, bound to distant Pluto.
A book entertaining, instructive, it shows you different interpretations of the instrument, plus the author, giving a good tool for reflection, for those who enjoy these musings.
